How this is calculated

Target amount = ingredient amount × target servings ÷ base servings. The result is then rounded for kitchen use: from 100 g or ml to the nearest 5, between 1 and 99 to the nearest 1, pieces and spoons to half units, amounts below one unit to quarters, thirds or halves. Teaspoons and tablespoons also go down to an eighth, kilograms and litres stay finer.

Total = value per serving × target servings. The value per serving is unchanged, because ingredient amount and serving count change by the same factor.

Nutrition values are estimates from the recipe record, not laboratory results. Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 210C (fan 190C).
  2. Finely chop the onion. Dice the pepper, courgettes and tomatoes.
  3. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the onion, pepper and courgette until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the tomatoes and stir in the tomato paste. Let everything simmer together for about 3 minutes.
  5. Drain the tuna well, then fold it through the vegetable mixture.
  6. Tip the tuna and vegetable mixture into an ovenproof dish and scatter the grated cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Switch to the fan setting for the last few minutes to get a crisp, golden cheese crust.
