Frequently asked questions
What makes this breakfast so high in protein?
The combination of low-fat quark, natural yogurt and nuts provides plenty of protein. If you want more, increase the amount of quark or stir in a spoonful of protein powder.
Can I sweeten it without sugar?
Yes. Instead of sugar, use a sugar alternative like erythritol or xylitol, plus a little vanilla. Ripe berries add extra natural sweetness.
Which berries and nuts work best?
Blueberries, raspberries or redcurrants work well, fresh or frozen. For the nuts, almonds, walnuts, cashews or hazelnuts are ideal.
